Huge Success
All Saints started a new Christmas tradition on
6 December with the wildly successful production of Cinderella.
Both performances were sold out and many hopefuls were turned
away. Our Chaplain, Father Jonathan directed the production and
also made two cameo appearances. Liz Buratti produced the hilariously
funny show and also appeared in it as an airline hostess for the
NastyJet company.
Junior Warden Martin Pugsley was a convincing Fairy
Godfather, whose weapon was able to transform mice into bodyguards
and a pumpkin into a carriage. Thanks to all those who contributed
to the technical side of the production, front of house, music,
refreshments and raffle. Special thanks to Liz and RAY. Money
will go to charities chosen by our Youth Group, RAY.

Better-then-ever
Carol Service
Our annual service of Nine Lessons and Carols took
place on 21 December. The Campion Quartet and All Saints choir
helped a congregation of about 400 people sing the traditional
carols and also provided special music. In addition to the mulled
wine provided by Keith Copper and the baked goods on sale, Sara
Brain provided chicken pies amd sausage rolls for a stand-up supper
after the service.
Children's Crib Service
An enthusiastic group of children including both
parish children and visitors helped build the crib and decorate
the tree on Christmas Eve afternoon. Thanks to Susan James and
Ingrid Hammond who provided help and expertise as the children
folded origami animals and decorated animal ginger cookies to
hang on the tree and take home.
Gearing
up for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
As usual All Saints calendar for the Week of Prayer
for Christian Unity is fast filling up. The week starts on 18
January with a 4 pm service at Ponte Sant'Angelo Methodist Church.
This service is in English, sponsored by Churches Together in
Rome. Bishop John Flack will be preaching.
Several other events are also planned, including
a service at Ognissanti, so please refer to your service sheets
or call the church for information.
Piano
Restored
Our upright Zimmermann piano has been expertly restored
by piano restorer Silvio Fabro. The piano, which is of excellent
manufacture, had been neglected in recent years, but the Church
decided to restore it so that the New Chamber Singers, the Campion
Quartet and other groups could use the crypt as practice space.
