All Saints Church is in the Church of England's
Diocese in Europe. We delight that we are part of the ethnically
diverse, multicultural, international Anglican Communion and that
our community is situated in Rome, so rich in reminders of the past
and so vibrant with different cultures and religious traditions
today.
We come from many different backgrounds, ethnic
groups, and Christian traditions, but we consider ourselves people
on the way, pilgrims on the road, and witnesses to Christ's promise
of salvation. We think of ourselves as extensive and inclusive,
extending the hand of Christian fellowship to all who come to us,
and including in our worshipping body all who wish to participate.
We also befriend and care for many people outside of our community
who come to us in need. The door of the All Saints' is open most
days of the week, and we hope this serves as a metaphor for our
work in the city.
We have close connections to the Anglican Centre
in Rome and to the American Episcopal Church, St Paul's within the
Walls. We have excellent ecumenical relations with all the English
speaking churches in Rome, with Italian Roman Catholic and Protestant
churches, and with other foreign language Christian churches in
Rome. We have recently established contact with our namesake Roman
Catholic church, Ogni Santi, on the via Appia, and are informally
'twinned' with the congregation there.
