...the
kingdom of God belongs to such as these
We cherish our children and strive to make sure that they are an
integral and visible part of our community, that they are welcomed
into a safe and joyful environment, and that they receive the care
and opportunity to worship which is their Christian birth-right.
Sunday School is in session from September through July during
the 10.30 service. During August, we provide a quiet activity corner
at the back of the south aisle for children and parents. This area
is unsupervised, so we ask that at least 2 parents over-see the
children there.
On the 1st Sunday of the month (beginning in October 2004), we
will not have Sunday School, but the children will remain upstairs
with the adults for a shorter simplified liturgy. Children and members
of our Youth Group will help with this service in various ways.
Four times a year (Harvest, Candelmas, Mothering Sunday, and Pentecost)
our 10.30 Sunday Eucharist is an all-age service - where the Sunday
School and Youth Group have an active role. Many of these services
coincide with the simplified liturgy.
In the early evening of Christmas Eve and on the morning of Easter
Eve we have special liturgies for children, parents and the young
at heart.
If you wish to know more about our child protection policy, please
contact the chaplain, or our child protection officer, Susie Scola.
Toddlers
Program - Lady Birds
DO YOU HAVE CHILDREN AGED 0-4?
Members of our congregation started a parent-toddler
group called Lady Birds, which meets on Wednesdays 10.00-12.00.
FROM SEPTEMBER,
WHY NOT BRING THEM ALONG TO

ALL SAINTS' CHURCH PARENT-TODDLER GROUP
.
is a parent-toddler group which takes place twice a month
in the crypt of All Saints' .
If you have children aged 1-4, why not bring them along on Wednesdays
from 10.00-12:00 noon?
Note: Suspended for summer, resuming in September. For information:
contact Holly Gibson: hhhollygibson@aol.com.
There is plenty of space for children to let off steam or spend
some quiet time, with toys and books to compliment their moods.
There is always a craft activity on offer, and often a sing-song
and/or story-time.
Ladybirds is for the Mums and Dads too, to meet eachother and enjoy
a break from having to keep the young ones entertained!
