All Saints' offers Christian education for all ages, from mid-September through
For adults, we use the Pilgrim Course, newly developed by the Church of England.
Each unit of six weeks takes as its starting point a basic element of Christian
faith, from the Ten Commandments to The Lord's Prayer. Designed as a small booklet
to take home, this course has proven very popular as a means going deeper into our
life as Christians, in both belief and practice. This year we will offer the fourth
unit, "The Beatitudes," during Advent, and the fifth unit, "The Creeds," during
Lent, Sundays from 12-1:00 p.m., after the 10:30 worship service.
For children and youth we have Sunday School during the 10:30 worship service. A
team of teachers uses a lectionary-based curriculum, including crafts, during the
middle part of the service.
Three to four All-Age Services at 10:30 are held throughout the year, involving
the smallest children as well as older youth in worship on special themes, with
a variety of music and liturgical styles.
Family and Congregational Retreats are offered in the autumn and Spring in places
such as the Benedictine monastery of Subiaco, Montefalco and Bevagna, and Spello/Assisi.
These have been opportunities for many families in the church to experience a deeper
sense of fellowship away from the busyness of the city.
Confirmation classes are offered yearly during different periods.
